What do we talk about on a consultation call?
During your free, 15-minute consultation call, I'll talk with you in order to get an idea of what you're looking for in a therapist to see if I'm the best fit for you. You can ask me any questions you may have, and make sure you feel comfortable talking to me. If we both agree that it's a good fit, then we will schedule our first session.

What is your rate per session?
Self-pay rate is $100 per 50-minute session
A complete fee schedule is available on request. Exact costs and fees vary based on service type and insurance coverage, as well as the status of deductible, if one must be met prior to insurance covering services. Reduced fee services are also available on a limited basis for those that qualify. 

What types of insurance do you accept?
I currently accept the following types of insurance:
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois
Cigna
Aetna
United Healthcare
Oxford
Oscar Health

I cannot currently accept any form of Medicaid.
If your insurance is not listed, I am happy to provide a superbill (detailed receipt) for out-of-network benefits. You can submit this superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement (although your insurance company will have to determine whether services or reimbursed).


What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Life happens, and you may need to cancel or change your appointment. If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours notice, there will be no fee. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged a fee of $25. Missed appointments will be charged a fee of $50. If you cancel or fail to show for 3 consecutive appointments, services will be terminated and you will be provided with a referral to other providers in the area.
